J.R. Haskins - Instructor
J.R. earned his Driver Education endorsement from Indiana State in 2010, while teaching elementary math at Tri-County. In 2016, he earned his Master’s Degree in administration and spent one year as the athletic director/assistant principal at Covington High School. Currently, he serves as the principal at Tri-County Jr/Sr High School. Most of his driving students live in the Wolcott, Remington and Rensselaer areas, but he also helps with students in West Lafayette. J.R. enjoys helping students to understand the responsibilities of being a new driver and the general rules of the road.
Gauree Patel- Instructor
Gauree is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Professional Flight Technology at Purdue University, with minors in Organizational Leadership and Advanced Global Technology. She recently earned her Flight Instructor certification and is excited to share her knowledge and experience with new students. Outside of aviation, Gauree enjoys cooking, watching cricket, playing badminton, and spending time with her friends and family.
Alicia McGuire - Office Manager
Hello! My name is Alicia. I am a lifelong resident of Lafayette. and graduate of Lafayette Jefferson high school. I have 2 adult children. I am so excited to be a part of the new Safety Zone Driving Academy location, here in my hometown! I have over 10 years of experience as a driving instructor and office manager. I am thankful to have the opportunity to work with teens and adults striving to earn their driver's license, because having a license offers such independence, freedom and convenience. In my free time, I enjoy IU Hoosiers basketball and the Chicago Cubs. I also love reading and live music.
